Exciting Research with Neonatal Nurses in the Trent Perinatal Network

My name is Katie Gallagher, and I am a neonatal nurse currently doing my PhD. My area of interest is neonatal nurses attitudes towards borderline viability. I became interested in this area due to the lack of research looking into our attitudes towards the care and treatment of extremely premature infants, despite our huge involvement with these babies and their families. My research looks specifically at neonatal nurses attitudes, and asks what do we think of borderline viability in our neonatal units.

Please see the following leaflet for more information, or please do not hesitate to contact myself for further information (see details on leaflet). The study is being conducted in all neonatal units in the Trent Perinatal Network, and provides an exciting opportunity to make nurses attitudes and opinions count. Interview transcripts can also be given to back to their corresponding participants for use in reflective portfolios. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
